Some of my favorites:1- Will Eisner - A Contract with God. I like the controlled sketchiness throughout the whole book.
2- J. M. DeMatteis - Batman: Absolution. The whole thing is done with watercolors. Isn't that amazing? ;D
3- Stephen King - The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born. Even though It's done digitally, it has a very distinctive style. The mood and use of silhouettes are wonderful.
4- Marvel Runaways.
5- The Adventures of Tintin.
