Aisha Al Mufta, the teaching assistant for LAS, introduced me to the work of Qatari artist Abdulla al Muharraqi. The two paintings below are based on Qatari folk tales. Aisha knows Abdulla, and I asked her to ask him if he would be interested in meeting with us. I think it would be an amazing opportunity to share what we're doing, and get feedback.
